This is the story of the teams at the University of Nigeria (UNN) and the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and a strong and equitable collaboration built by recognizing the diverse skill sets, backgrounds, and expertise within both teams, which helped leverage the strengths of each team member for comprehensive capacity building.
