Dr. Ezeanolue is an experienced clinician-scientist with >25 years’ experience. He is currently Vice-President, HealthySunrise Foundation and Director, Center for Translation and Implementation Research (CTAIR) at the University of Nigeria.
Dr. Ezeanolue leads the Nigeria Implementation Science Alliance (NISA) and is country lead for the Central and West Africa Implementation Science Alliance (CAWISA). Board-certified in Pediatrics and Infectious Diseases, his research focuses on the use of implementation science to enhance the effectiveness and quality of health services to improve health outcomes.
He has served as PI on >25 peer-reviewed research projects including multiple NIH-funded projects (R01HD075050; R21TW010252; R01HD087994; R01HD089871). Dr. Ezeanolue have served in national committees in the United States including the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (20015-2019); American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Pediatric AIDS (2015-2019); Chattered Member, NIH study section (2015-2018) and Patient Centered Outcome Research Institute (2012-2015).
He has been recognized as Nevada Public Health Leader of the Year (2007), Nevada Health Care Hero (2008), Outstanding Research Mentor (2009) and AAP Local Hero (2010) for his contributions to public health.
