Brief About Chisom Obi-Jeff

I have focused my career on developing and testing innovative and culturally appropriate interventions to improve the uptake and delivery of health services in low and middle-income (LMICs) settings. My research interests include implementation research to inform policy decisions and program strategies and using participatory and innovative approaches to address global health challenges. My current research is building the evidence to support implementation strategies to improve maternal, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and immunization outcomes. I currently serve as co-investigator on a Bill and Belinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) funded grant [INV-032486] that aims to test implementation strategies to improve preventive and treatment interventions for anemia in pregnancy and post-partum, including the administration of intravenous iron to women with moderate to severe anemia in routine health system settings.
