Biography

Brief About Alexandra Ezeonu

I trained at the University of Nigeria Medical School; and since graduation, have had extensive clinical and management experiences in both private and public medical institutions. I have built a demonstrable nest of field experience on HIV/AIDS/TB program implementations with health-based NGOs. I have been actively involved in the implementation of the US PEPFAR-funded HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment program in Abuja, FCT, Nasarawa and Anambra States of Nigeria. I also implemented the Global Fund HIV project in Enugu and Edo State under the New Funding Model. I have additionally undertaken numerous healthcare and management training programs with the aim of consolidating a career anchored on data-driven healthcare episteme and policies. These trainings include an MBA program in Business Administration, PRINCE2 certification in project management. Based on my interest, I have carried out researches on sexual health after I undertook trainings course in Sexual and Reproductive Health Research and Research Ethics. I am currently working on the Part II Fellowship in Community Health of the West African College of Physicians.
